The Shoe Project: Walk in Their Shoes

"Shoes accompany us on all our journeys. They say who we are, where we came from and where we are going." - The Shoe Project Founder, Katherine Govier. In partnership with the Museum of Vancouver, The Shoe Project Vancouver presents Walk in Their Shoes, an evening of performance with ten amazing women who tell their stories of arrival and adaptation to Canada—through a pair of shoes. From Syria, Tibet, Eritrea, Colombia, Somalia, Indonesia, Iraq, Bangladesh, and El Salvador, these women have been coached in writing by award-winning author Caroline Adderson and in voice by distinguished performance coaches Alison Matthews and Tara Friedenberg.Join us on Friday, June 22nd, 2018 at the Museum of Vancouver for The Shoe Project's first run in Vancouver.
